BMCLC has a main office in St. Albans, which is open Monday to Friday, and community clinics in Sunshine and Melton.
We operate a number of general and specialty legal clinics, as well as outreach services through key community organizations. We also handle cases and provide legal representation. BMCLC is funded by state and Commonwealth governments and supported by philanthropic funding. When you call us, we ask for a brief description of your legal problem and details of all parties involved. We do not provide legal advice when you make the first contact, but we will obtain information to decide whether we can book you a conversation with a lawyer or whether we need to refer you to a more appropriate service. If necessary, interpreters can be used. If you are involved in a family, criminal or civil law matter, you must deal with the legal process last.
