A SECOND Legal Services Skills Academy with FinTrU of Belfast and Derry will offer 20 apprenticeships to graduates who wish to retrain in the legal aspect of financial services. The Legal Academy is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who wish to learn about the legal aspects of the financial services industry and embark on their professional journey. The FinTrU Law Academy, funded by the Department of Economics, is a training program that leads to a potential job offer. FinTrU Legal Academy training is delivered in partnership with Queen`s University Belfast, University of Ulster and Belfast Metropolitan College Those selected for the Academy will receive hands-on training from industry experts and have the opportunity to develop the core skills required to take on exciting new graduate roles in FinTrU. With the support of the Ministry of Economy, up to 23 Academy participants will receive a five-week online training on legal financial services. Those who have successfully completed the training are entitled to an interview for a position at FinTrU in their Belfast or North West offices. “This is the second time we have offered an academy in the legal aspects of financial services. The Legal Academy offers participants the opportunity to acquire both the knowledge and practical skills required for an exciting legal career in the financial services industry.
