This is a must-have recipe for me. Thanks Dan for sharing. Oh my God, it was just fabulous! My husband (an avid fisherman) and I are a bit picky with our fish, but it was exceptional. The only substitutes I made were: vegetable broth for chicken broth (we don`t eat meat), fluke for shrimp and panko for the ritz. Oh, no mushrooms – she hadn`t. Simply superb! I made this recipe twice, each time it was absolutely delicious!! The first time I made stuffed shrimp and topped them with small pieces of butter when I put them in the oven – 5 stars!! The second time I made it as a seafood topping – I doubled the recipe and used it to fill 2 flounders, 1 red snapper and there was enough left over to mold a crab cake – 5 stars!!! I skip the onions, measure quite heavily on the celery/onion/garlic/parsley, and use 1 pound of fresh crab when I double the recipe.
