Technology or Computer Science Courses: 1 Carnegie Unit Starting in the summer of 2012, Mississippi institutions of higher learning will enroll Mississippi High School graduates in a required and recommended College Preparatory Program (CPC). The CPC, which identifies 16 1/2 Carnegie units, is the minimum CPC required for full admission, and the CPC with 19 1/2 Carnegie units is recommended to improve students` preparation for university-level courses. The minimum CPC required for full admission to a public university in Mississippi is as follows: English: 4 Carnegie units.
